Daddy's Secretary

Emma and I walked down to the Drew's work yesterday. When she sees the Region's Bank sign she always yells "DA EEE". One night I drove around the block and by the bank about 3 times just so I could hear her yell "DA EEE" over and over. She struts around the place like she owns it.

WEEKEND RECAP; LOTS OF PICTURES

Saturday morning, we headed over to my mom and dad's to pick up Emma's playhouse that they had been storing for us. Here's a picture of Emma playing on the swingset at MawMaw and PawPaw's.

We headed straight home so daddy could get started on the construction of her new house.

Of course, Emma had to "help".

After about an hour it was put together. She had a blast playing with it all afternoon. Here she is sitting on her patio calling Ava to chat.


And here's Emma taking care of her babies. She has her stroller and doll carrier in her house.

The Brownings' came over in the evening to play. They brought Emma a Powerwheels Dora Jeep (or as daddy calls it "something else to store").

Emma took a little time away from her domestic responsilities in her new house to have enjoy some extreme roller coaster riding.

Sunday afternoon we went with MawMaw Bird, MawMaw and PawPaw, and The Brownings' to Giant City Lodge for lunch.

Did any watch The View this morning? Come on!!! I guess I am so uncool. Lil Wayne was on. First of all, I had no clue who he was. BUT WHAT'S WITH THE TEETH? Is this really supposed to be attractive? I think these are the first diamonds that I do not love.

WE'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU, FLUBUG!!

It definately wasn't the junk from MawMaw's that made Emma throw up on the way home last night. We had 3 more vomits in our crib last night (NASTY!) followed by 3 late night baths. I'm home with her this morning and she acts like she's feeling really good so hopefully it's just a quick bug.

BUSY WEEKEND!

Saturday morning was my nephew, Aden's, 7th birthday party. Did you hear me? That is 7 years old!! I can not believe he is 7!!!!

After the party, we took Emma to have her pictures taken and to get some family shots done as well. The family pictures turned out really good. Emma did not participate on her own too well. But we did get a couple good ones of her. Those will come in a later post. After pictures we went and had dinner at I.V.'s. Here's a picture of Emma taking her time getting to the car.

Sunday afternoon we hung out at MawMaw and PawPaw's (as usual). We went for a ride on the Kawasaki Mule. Emma loved it and Ava fell asleep. Emma's hair is a little windblown in the picture below... love it! I'm sure we'll spend many more hours on MawMaw and PawPaw's mule this summer.

Our weekend hasn't ended too well. Emma threw up in the car on the way home from church. Her clothes, my clothes and the car seat cover are all in the wash as I type. She didn't act like she felt sick so I'm hoping that it was just all the junk food that she ate at MawMaw's today... oh well, that's what MawMaw's are for.

EASTER EVENTS

The visit with the Easter Bunny did not go so well. This is about as close as we got. Maybe next year.
