OUR CHRISTMAS 2010 (PART 1)

Our Christmas festivities were slim this year. Being 9 months pregnant we stayed home more than we normally would. I didn't feel like waddling anywhere and I am also so scared of any of us catching that stomach bug.

Last Sunday was our Christmas Sunday at church.
Here's Emma on our way to church (with her gift for her favorite Sunday School teacher, Pam).

And the girls all decked out in their Christmas dresses.

King's Kids sang that morning and did a great job!

After church we headed to Grandma Golden's to have Christmas with Andrew's family.

Adrian and Emma being "gamers".

After lunch, it was time to open presents.

Baby Drew got a beautiful blanket from Grandma Golden.

Then it was time for a family picture.

Before we left Adrian and Emma made gingerbread house cookies.

Then it was back to church that night.
Emma's Sunday School class sang at night.
She wouldn't go up by herself so she drug me up there with her.

Santa showed up at church too!
I was so surprised that she sat on his lap.

On Thursday, we went to see The Grinch at the Marion Civic Center with Ava, Rhyan and Jessica. The girls looked absolutely adorable!! They are best buds.

Christmas Eve we hung out at MawMaw and PawPaw's house.

Emma and Daddy before we left.

Emma loves playing with MawMaw's nativity set.

CHRISTMAS MORNING

What a mess!!

MawMaw and PawPaw stopped by mid morning to see what all Santa brought.

Christmas afternoon we went to MawMaw Bird's (my gma's).

Emma in her Christmas outfit ready to go!

...and one with Mommy.

My dad kept the kids busy by playing games that he made up.

We had such a great Christmas. Our family is truly blessed.
We will have Christmas with my family next Saturday... Drew Alivia should be here to celebrate!

38 WEEKS

How far along: 38 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 10 lbs
Movement: quite a bit and a lot lower
Sleep: not too bad, a lot of switching sides during the night
What I miss: LUNCHMEAT! I want a big Subway sandwich after I deliver
Cravings: none really
Best moment of the week: marking the last thing off my "things to do to get ready for baby" list

One of those things on my list was to get her boppy cover embroidered.
I think it turned out so cute. I just love the orange and pink together.

I finally got her mobile completed too. I also think this turned out so cute.
It seems like it took me forever to get this done. Every time I would start on it something would happen or I'd need something I didn't have.

And here's a picture of her completed "corner of Momma and Daddy's room".

Bags are all packed!
Although I'd rather her wait till after Christmas we're ready for her.

37 WEEKS

Man, these pregnancy pictures have been UGLY!
By the time I remember to take my weekly picture I am usually already in my pj's, makeup removed, hair thrown up in a "ponytail". I really should have skipped the picture again tonight but I haven't taken or posted a picture in a couple weeks so here goes... I would say "better than nothing" but I'm not quite so sure.

How far along: 37 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: only up 5 lbs now. was up about 10 but I had a horrible cold last week and didn't eat much so I lost 5 pounds. I'm sure those will come back on quick.

Movement: not feeling as strong of movement, I guess she's running out of room in there.

Sleep: I've actually been sleeping better. Not sure the reasoning behind it though.

What I miss: nothing that I can think of right now. I'm sure there's something though.

Cravings: None (man, I'm boring this week)

Best moment this week: finding out today at my dr's appt that he is definately going to induce me on Dec 28th!! I was 1 centimeter dialated!!

GET ME OUT OF THIS HOUSE!

I have been locked up in this house forever!
I fought a nasty cold all last week and after a couple days of my ear hurting I finally broke down and went to urgent care Friday night.
Ava spent the night with Emma Friday night so I left Andrew alone with the girls while I went to the doctor. I found out at the doctor that I had my very first ear infection. Wow, they are not fun. I dont know how kids handle them, they hurt!
This is what Emma's bedroom looked like after her and Ava played all night. They didn't go to bed till 11:30 that night.

I had ordered tickets for all of us to go on the Santa Train Saturday afternoon.
Me, Emma, Penny, Talan, Tonya B, Ava, Amelia and her friend Briley.
I woke up Saturday feeling like a total piece of... well you know, so I decided to stay home and Andrew took Emma.

Here are the girls before they left.

Andrew took some videos and photos of Emma on the train and would text them to me.
It made me so sad that I had to miss it but I'm glad she had so much fun.

I had to miss Andrew's work party last night because I still felt bad. He went for a while but didnt stay long.

We woke up to about 2 inches of snow this morning. I was feeling quite a bit better so we loaded up and left for church.

Not a lot of snow but the roads were horrible! We didn't make it a mile down the road and almost had 2 accidents, one involving another car, so we decided to turn around and go back home.

Which makes another day of being stuck in the house. I really wanted to get out this afternoon and take Emma to see Santa and Candy Cane Lane but the roads are still horrible. All area schools have already canceled for tomorrow.

I did get all my circles drawn to start making Baby Drew's mobile but that's as far as I got. My scissors weren't working too well on the material so I've got to pick up some new fabric scissors before I can finish.

What a boring weekend and day. At least mom and dad stopped by this evening for a while. It was nice to see a different face!
