DRESS-UP

I went through my closet the other night trying on clothes seeing what fit and didn't fit. Emma decided to play "dress up" too. This is the outfit she came up with... Momma's boots and all.

21 WEEKS

How far along: 21 weeks

Total weight gain: up 3 pounds

Gender: Girl!

Movement: Lots of movement. Drew got her feel her move a few days ago. So did Emma but she didn't realize what she was feeling.

Symptoms: very tired all the time

DECISIONS, DECISIONS...

I love looking at baby clothes... and buying them. Since we found out we were pregnant I have been searching for a simple, comfortable coming home outfit for Baby. I've had my eye on this adorable Tralala gown. So I finally broke down and purchased it. I'm going to have Emma a pink and orange shirt made that says "Big Sister" so that she can match Baby Sister.

Last week I ordered her crib. Since our house is so small and she'll be staying in our room for a while I ordered this mini crib with the changing table attached. I used Emma's changing table for every changing so I was nervous about not having one this time so hopefully this one will work just fine. Just wait until you see the adorable bedding. Can't wait to get that ordered but I must pay the credit card off this month so I can order more next month. I'm really excited to get everything together. Right now it seems like I've got plenty of time but it will go by so fast. Especially with Emma's birthday and Christmas in my last weeks of pregnancy.

We also decided on a name. Someone asked me if this was the "official" name. My answer? "It is until we change our minds."

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AVA LONDON!

I'm a little late in posting about Ava's party since it was over a week ago and all.

She had her party at the skating rink.

And had Dora cupcakes.

Here's a picture of Ava opening her gift from Emma. Skecher twinkle toe light up shoes.

As soon as she opened them she ripped the tags off and put them right on so we're thinking she liked them.

Movement: yes, especially in the morning and at night
What I miss: Energy!
Best moment of the week: I'm a week behind on my weekly pregnancy postings so the best part would be finding out at 19 weeks that we're having a girl.
What I'm looking forward to: Drew and Emma being able to feel her move.

Looks like there's more of this in our future!

And we couldn't be happier!

I think this may be a hint that we need to turn our air conditioner down!!

A PREVIEW...

My best friend from childhood was in town last weekend. Her husband is a great photographer. We met up on Saturday (and Sunday because Emma was not very cooperative on Saturday) so he could take some shots of Emma. He emailed me a preview earlier today of a few that he has edited so far. Many more to come but I had to share these.

HALLOWEEN ALREADY?

Remember my posts last Halloween about not being able to get Emma a cupcake costume? Remember my attempt at trying to make one? Pottery Barn was sold out of the costume, they were going for $175 on ebay. So today while browsing on Pottery Barn Kids I noticed that they had their Halloween costumes out for this season already. So I hurried up and ordered this cupcake costume.

I sure hope she wants to be a cupcake for Halloween. (If not, I guess I could always sell it on ebay)
