I haven't talked much about this pregnancy on this blog. I'm going to try to post a weekly pregnancy update complete with pictures. No picture this week cause I'm too lazy to get up and take one. So here goes...
How far along: 13 weeks
Total weight gain: down 2 lbs, I think it's because not much sounds good. Plus I can't even find the energy to fix myself anything to eat.
Maternity clothes: not exactly. I can't button my regular pants. I'm wearing a lot of dresses so that I can put off wearing maternity clothes.
Gender: too early to find out. But right now if I had to guess I'd say a girl. All the gender tests say a girl... I know, I know... it's impossible for these tests to work but I have to admit I kinda think they do.
Movement: not yet. I thought I felt her/him the other day but since it's so early I guess it was just gas. I can not wait to feel her/him move. That is definately my favorite part of being pregnant.
Sleep: Definately no problem sleeping!! Just wish I could get more of it. Emma and I usually take a 2-3 hour nap in the afternoons. I'm so happy she is still a napper.
Symptoms: Other than being tired ALL THE TIME I am feeling pretty great. I am a lot bigger than I was at this time carrying Emma. I would compare this 13 week belly to my 16 week belly with Emma. Crazy pregnancy dreams!
What I miss: Bigg Swiggs- Enough Said!
Cravings: K, this is so weird but I have been wanting wine... I know... weird! I'm not even a big wine drinker. I mean I like a glass of wine every blue moon but seriously I think if wine during pregnancy was okay I'd be an alcoholic right now! jk Oh yeah, and Bigg Swiggs. Unlike the wine I can give in to the Bigg Swigg craving every once in a while.
Best moment of the week: finally explaining to Emma that the baby is in Mommy's belly. I was kinda nervous to do this because I wasn't sure that she'd understand but I think she kinda got it... as much as a 2 year old can. She wanted to see the baby in my belly though, she tried to look through my belly button to see her/him. She also talked to the baby and was a little ticked because baby didn't talk back.
What I'm looking forward to: feeling the baby move
