ANOTHER CATCH UP POST

It's been busy around here lately. It seems like I'll look at my calendar on Sunday and think "oh this next week isn't too bad" but then by the time it's Friday I'm wondering how I could have fit anything else in. Oh well we have lots of fun...

I forgot to let everyone know in my last post that Emma finally filled up her ball jar.

This is the scooter she picked out as her reward.

Baby Lyric was born on September 3rd.

I found Emma trying to get into Drew's johnny jump-up so Andrew put her in it and gave her a ride!

We hit up the State Fair on Labor Day.

Drew wasn't very impressed... maybe next year.

Emma spotted a huge Hello Kitty stuffed animal. She went on and on about how she wanted to win it but we all know it's nearly impossible to win the big prizes. While Emma was on a ride Andrew asked a girl running one of the games how much it would cost him to "win" the Hello Kitty. She told him about $50. Ummm, no thank you! On the way out we saw the same Hello Kitty but smaller. So Andrew asked the guy running the game how much that one would cost to "win" and he said about $25. So Andrew just had to let her "win" it.

She fell asleep on the way home holding on tightly to Hello Kitty so it was worth it.
Don't you just love how it's not even the real Hello Kitty? It's not even a good knock-off either.

I'm wanting Drew to start sleeping without her Woombie.
The first night started out well. She was all sprawled out like she was finally free.
But this didn't last long. She was awake after a couple hours so we put her in her Woombie and she slept all night. Looks like she'll be in her Woombie till Kindergarten!

I took Emma and Drew to meet Lyric.

I went with the girls from work to the Little Black Dress party at Walker's Bluff.
To say we had a blast would be a major understatement!!
I work with some great women!

We're trying to spend lots of time outside before the colder weather hits.

Penny and I took the kids to Bennie's and bowling.

Emma has been wanting fake nails for a while but she doesn't understand that they will fall off. We found these at the store last night and just had to get them.
I remember getting these when I was little.

WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO...

I really got behind on blogging in August so here's a little catch up on what we were up to.

We did a lot of playing on the new swing set.

We made it to the pool with friends once or twice a week.

Emma went to her first concert. It was Francesca Battistelli.

The girls wore their matching dresses to church one Sunday.

Drew tried out some Hello Kitty hair extensions. She decided she'd wait till her hair grew just a little.

Daddy and Emma practiced riding her bike without training wheels.
Just gotta love how she's dressed as TinkerBell here.

Emma blew some bubbles.

The girls swam in their blow up pool.

We celebrated Ava's 4th birthday at the park.

Drew got her learner's permit and was allowed to drive with the help of Daddy.

Emma got a new tat.

Emma didn't have dance in July but was so excited to get back in there in August.
She still enjoys dance so much.

Drew tackled Daddy to the floor so she could fix his hair.

Emma slept in sponge rollers for the time.

She woke up with curls!

We took the Browning kids to Pizza Hut.

Drew finally started holding her own bottle... it's the best!!

She's also eating Gerber Puffs.

The girls got to meet Hello Kitty.

We got to celebrate Talan's birthday with a Ninja Turtle party.

And we celebrated Ava's birthday with a swimming party.

Drew learned that she has a deep love for cantaloupe.

And sometimes can get so dirty from dinner that she goes straight to the sink for a bath.
