BIBLE SCHOOL 2011

It's only taken me 3 days to get Bible School posted.
Emma had a blast!!!
She invited her best friend Breanna. We picked Breanna up every night and took her home as well... these girls cracked me up the whole time.

Here they are on Monday night. Monday night was "Wear your flip flops" night.

Tuesday night was "Funny Hat" night.
Here's Crazy Emma before we left.

Wednesday night was "Wear your Sunglasses" night.

Emma and Morrison showing off their shades.

And Breanna and Emma showing off their shades.

Wednesday night the snow cone truck came to the church.

Thursday night was "Crazy Hair" night.

I'm thinking that the hair is not the only thing crazy here...

Friday night was the Commencement where everyone's parents came see what the kids had learned. We had an average of 190 kids each night... AMAZING!!

After the commencement the church had a pool party at the Marion Pool.

CAVITY-FREE

Emma had her very first dentist appointment today.

We've talked about what to expect for a few days now so she was all ready for the tools that they used to clean her teeth.

She did so good!

I could tell a couple of times that she got a little nervous but she was so brave.

I just love our dentist and his staff. Jennifer did so great with Emma.

I mean for real, Emma got to watch cartoons during her cleaning!

And then for doing so well and not having ANY cavities she got to pick something special out of the treasure chest. She picked out these sunglasses.

Superstar!

SATURDAY

We had a busy Saturday.
Emma, Talan, Penny and I left early and spent the day at Cape Splash.

We had so much fun!

We headed home mid-afternoon to make it to Lucas' 5th birthday party at 5 o'clock.

Lucas had a swim party in his Grandma Tonnie's pond. Emma was not excited at the thought of swimming in a pond, she will barely get in a pool without being held so she just played in the sand.

Busy week coming up for us... BIBLE SCHOOL!

GOOFY GOLF

We took Emma to play goofy golf tonight.

I held Drew in her carrier.

It was hard to golf with Drew where she was but she loved it!

Emma did so good.

She got a hole in one!!!! And 3 hole in two's.

Can't wait to go back!

(Sorry for the bad quality pictures but I left my camera in the car and had to use the cell phone)

STUPID WASP!

Emma got stung by a wasp for the first time this afternoon.

I told her tonight that I was sooooo sorry that wasp stung her.

She replies "Mom, it wasn't your fault. It's was that wasp's fault!"

BABY LYRIC'S SHOWER

Last Saturday morning my sister's and I threw a baby shower for my cousin Mikki.

The theme was monkeys.

These are the take home bags.

They had yellow sugar covered banana shaped bananas in a baggie with this tag that said "Thanks for swinging by! Love Lyric".

We also had another table set up for everyone to decorate a onesie for Lyric.

Our food table had banana nut muffins, monkey bread...

monkey bars and banana pudding bites.

Blue and green punch.

Here's Mikki and her husband Preston (Lyric's daddy) opening gifts.

Emma decorated a onesie for Lyric.

We all took advantage of being in one place at the same time so we took lots of pictures!

Me and the new Momma!

SLOW DOWN DREW!!

Wow, this child has grown so much this past few days.

She's been sitting up for just moments at a time but tonight she sat up on her own for a good 30 seconds! Won't be long now!

And on Saturday I noticed that her tooth had popped through.
You can kinda see it in the picture below... bottom left.

She was holding a toy earlier tonight and was shaking it a little too hard. It hit her new tooth and cut her lip.

A WALK AND CARROTS

We went to the park the other night. We were trying to leave and Emma asked Andrew if they could walk home. And they did. It's about half a mile and they had to walk a little bit on the highway. I was a nervous wreck.

I know I had to look pathetic driving down the highway, hanging out the window taking pictures.

I wish I would have gotten a picture of them a block from the house. Emma was getting a piggy-back ride. And according to Andrew she had been carried most of the walk. :)

I made carrots for Drew last night.
She loved them and ate the whole bowl.
