PRECIOUS MOMENTS

I received an email this morning from Drew.
Subject line read "You know your kid loves you..."
Inside the email it said "by what happens when you're not watching".
This precious picture was attached to the email.
Drew said he took this last night after Emma and I had fallen asleep.
She's so precious!
And yes, I know she shouldn't be in our bed but for real how can you say no to that snuggle?

Dear Fellow Target Shoppers,

Dear Fellow Target Shoppers from this afternoon,
I'm assuming from your stares that you have never seen a child throw a fit for candy? No, I did not let my child get a ring pop while waiting in line. Why? Because she was throwing a fit and not behaving. You should know you're the same people who stared at my fit-throwing child throughout the store. And now you're giving me dirty looks for not rewarding her with a ring pop?
Sincerely,
"The Most Horrible Mother on Earth"

78 SHOPPING DAYS LEFT

Christmas is just around the corner. I can not wait! This year will be so much fun with Emma. She's finally old enough to be excited about a tree, the lights, decorations and of course the gifts.

I have all sorts of ideas for gifts for her... Tiny gifts that will be lost before Christmas day is over to big gifts that will not fit through my front door, cheap gifts that she'd love to expensive gifts that I could never afford.

One thing that I think she'd love is her very own chair. Emma loves to sit in miniture chairs. No matter where we are when she sees one you can bet that she's headed right to it. She has a chair that she sits in to watch Dora. But her chair is a piece to her baby swing and if I plan on keeping it to reuse with a new baby I need to put it away before she stains it (more than she already has). So I've been searching online looking for child chairs. There are some really adorable chairs out there and some really expensive chairs too.

Here are some that I've found and are in my budget as well. Santa may just have to fit one of these down my imaginary chimney.

toysrus.com $99.99

walmart.com $88.88
I can just see her falling asleep while watching Dora in this chair.
How cute would it be with a small pillow embroidered with her name?

walmart.com $69.88

I love the green with polka dots. Not sure if it would match but I still might get this one cause it's so adorable!

toddlerock.com $54.95 + $19.95 personalized
I actually think I would like this one better without her name.
I'm leaning towards the 2 from Walmart. Simply because they offer site-to-store shipping which means free shipping all I have to do is pick it up at my Walmart.

BYE BYE BABYSITTER # 2!

Last week was Emma's last week at Karen's, her babysitter.
Emma loves Karen and so do I.
We knew she was irreplaceable and now I'm wondering if I will find anyone that even comes close to her.
Here is a picture of Karen, Emma and Baby Ella.
Karen and Emma
Jaylynn (Karen's oldest daughter) and Emma
Hunter (Karen's youngest daughter) and Emma

Emma and Karen made cupcakes on Emma's last day.
Last, but definately not least to Emma, is Miley (Karen's puppy).
Emma simply adores Miley.

DOES ANYONE KNOW THIS CHILD?

Because this kid could not possibly be mine. Look how big she looks... my child is still a baby not a big girl!

MY WEEKEND PROJECT

I am attempting to re-create this costume this weekend (minus the huge hairbow).
Why not just buy it you ask? Because it is on sale for $109.00. Yes, I said on sale.
