2 MONTHS

Being 2 months old is no fun, it starts out with shots!
She did good though, just a slight freak out when she got them but right after she forgot all about them.

Her weight was 9 lbs exactly, length 22 1/2" and head circumference 38 cm.

BACK TO REALITY

I head back to work tomorrow and this is how me and the girlies feel about it...

I'm kinda looking forward to getting back in the swing of things but I'm sure gonna miss my babies. Andrew is on vacation this week so they'll be with him then next Monday it's off to Ms Tonya's for them both.

I wanna show off my crafty-ness. I think I did a good job but you may disagree.

I ordered a "family" wall word from an Uppercase Living party Penny had. I wanted some picture frames to match but couldn't find them so I made them myself and for less than $4 a frame!!

I bought the unfinished wood frames, painted them and then modpodged the paper on.

And here is the completed project.

I got this next idea from etsy.com.
I bought 4 canvas and painted them. I think they turned out pretty cute too.

DANCE CLASS

Emma had her very first dance class this afternoon.
I wasn't sure how it was going to go because Emma is extremely shy.
But she did great!!!

Here they are stretching before class.

I was so proud, she just jumped in there and
followed the teachers directions and did exactly what she was supposed to.

She kept watching herself in the big mirrored wall.
Once she looked over at me and said "Momma, I love my shirt".

Love the next 2 pictures below...
She kept looking over at me and would grin real big.
She thought she was really something.

So go ahead and mark your calendars!!!
Sunday May 22nd is her first recital at the Marion Civic Center.
I got a glimpse of their recital costumes tonight and let's just say they are quite simply the cutest things I've ever seen. I almost screamed when I saw them.

Above all, Emma had a blast and asked on the way home from church tonight if she could go to dance class on her way home (only 3 hours since we left the class). I hope she can wait a week to go back.

POOR BABY DREW

I have a feeling this is just one of the many times she will not be able to defend herself against Emma's great ideas.

THANK YOU MOTHER NATURE!

After many, many weeks of nothing but COLD and snow we finally had a nice day.

When I say nice, I mean extremely nice especially for February.

It was in the mid 60's today and we couldn't stay cooped in the house a minute longer.

Emma played in her playhouse.

This was Drew's first time outside.

Emma rode her bike up and down the sidewalk.

Drew and I stayed on the swing most of the time.

Emma swung too.

We finally came in for naps.
I love the sunshine coming through the window on Drew, she looks so comfy.

Big sister was out like a light too!

I DONT SEE IT...

People always tell me that they see Emma in Drew.
And sometimes I see the resemblance.

But I do not see it in these pictures.

MORE VALENTINES DAY PREPARATIONS

But first I must share a picture of this polka dotted baby!

I ordered these iron-on appliques from etsy.com and made the girls Valentine's Day shirts.

This one is Emma's... obviously.

And here is Drew's...

Drew threw a fit (kinda) to try on her Valentines bow so I gave in and let her.

GETTING READY FOR VALENTINE'S DAY

Emma and I did her Valentine's Day cards this morning. She has to exchange cards in King Kids and Cubbies. And she's also taking some for the kids at Ms Tonya's next week. I found the cutest cards on walmart.com and had Emma's picture printed on them.

They turned out so cute.

She chose Tinkerbell for the kids at Ms Tonya's...

And these blue and red ones for King's Kids...

And these pink and red heart ones for the kids in Cubbies.

And don't worry... Drew wasn't left out. She is mailing her Valentine's Day cards out tomorrow. So watch your mail boxes grandparents and aunts!
