25 WEEKS

How far along: 25 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 7 lbs
Movement: feelings her all the time. Drew can feel her quite a bit too but Emma is still a little confused on what she feels.
Gender: still a girl!!
Best moment of the week: getting her crib up yesterday.
What I'm looking forward to: getting everything else ready.
Sleep: Went to bed last night at 9:30 and was up 4 times to pee before 11:45. Other than really missing sleeping on my belly I'm sleeping pretty good.
Symptoms: Feeling really good. Really tired and short of breath somedays but what a small price to pay!

APPLE FESTIVAL PARADE

This morning we went to the Murphysboro AppleFestival Parade with Penny and Talan.
At first, Emma and Talan were a little shy and didn't jump out there for any candy.

But it didn't take long before they were right out there in the middle of it... grabbing all the candy they could.

It sure was hot but we had a lot of fun!

BARGAINS!!

I went to a local consignment sale yesterday. You know how I love me a good bargain! Here are some of my favorite purchases.

Ralph Lauren dress for Baby Sister

I fell in love with the shirt underneath it. It's plain white so I can match it up with other dresses next summer.

Gymboree alligator sweater. Seriously, how cute is this going to look with some dark jeans and a green hairbow??

Carter's 2 piece sweater outfit. Emma could rock the color blue when she was a baby so I'm still a sucker for a sweet blue outfit.

Circo heart shirt- Emma saw this shirt and about had a heart attack. She fell in love and said "Mom, can I please have this heart shirt?" Not my fav but she can wear it to Ms Tonya's.

Old Navy "sweatshirt" dress. This will be adorable with some funky tights.

Carter's leopard dress- we've already got some leopard shoes that will go perfect!

Can you wear leopard shoes with a leopard dress?

Carter's dress- I think this one may be a little short but it will work perfect with some brown leggings.

Children's Place pj's- I'm a sucker for cute pj's.

See? I told ya I'm a sucker for cute pj's. I'm an even bigger sucker for night gowns... love them!

And here is my favorite purchase!! This dress is adorable and I think I may just save it for her Christmas dress. (Sorry the pic is sideways, just tilt your head)

MUD PIE ANYONE?

Emma loves to play "cook". Maybe she's trying to teach me how or at least wanting me to catch the hint.

So the other day we made some mud and whipped up some mud pies.

We were ready for church a little early yesterday so I snapped some pictures of Emma. I can't wait to edit them.

CUBBIES

Tonight was the first night for Awana. Last year Emma was in the Puggles class. This year she moved up to the Cubbies class. This is her before we left this evening.

Her birthday was within a couple months of the age cutoff but we thought we'd try out the Cubbies class and she did great. We asked her on the way home what she learned about and she said "Ya know, God stories"... well, duh, guys!
