TENNESSEE TRIP

At the end of July we all rented a cabin in the Smokey's for a few days.

The girlies played.

And hung out with MawMaw.

The cabin had a pool so we swam a little.

And played goofy golf.

We ate a lot!

Emma saw the Sky Lift and just had to go up!

The kids played in the hot tub.

And colored.

And caught big bugs!

On Saturday we went to OberGatlinburg.

We got to go to church on Sunday and watch Morrison get baptised!!

We stopped in Clarksville on the way and ate frozen yogurt with Andrew's family.

PRE-K

I haven't blogged in forever!! I am so behind I almost dont know where to start. Expect a big catch up post soon... maybe.

Emma had her first official day of pre-k today. She didn't seem nervous at all. Glad one of us wasn't, I couldn't eat at all this morning and my stomach was a mess.

She had to be there at 8:00. She went right in and we hung her backpack in her cubby. Mrs. Carter (conveniently one of my sister's bff's) asked Emma if she wanted to get a puzzle to play at the table. Emma went with her so I decided I would just make it easy and just leave. I started crying as soon as I left the classroom, made it to the car and had a little pity party.

My pity party didn't last too long. I realized how blessed I am to be able to take Emma on her first day. And how lucky we are to have a great babysitter who will take Emma to and from pre-k. And lucky that Ms Tonya will be taking Emma's best buddy, Breanna, to and from pre-k too. I just love that they will get to be together. I am also so glad that Emma gets to go to pre-k in the mornings and not the afternoons, that way I don't have to give up any of my time with her. I also love how it's only 3 days a week. Oh, and the school nurse is totally a good friend of mine that I grew up with. She even texted me once this morning to tell me that she checked on Emma and that she was doing fantastic. How awesome is that?

Drew and I were there to pick her up at 10:15 sharp. (We were a little too excited to pick her and were there a little early so we hung out in the parking lot. Also, don't fret!, Drew changed before we picked up Sis. lol)
Emma had such a great time. This is what she told me "Momma, I didn't get sad. Not once. I didn't want you at all." And to be truthful I am so glad!... well kinda.

7 MONTHS

This post is a little late but we were out of town on her 7 month birthday.
I'll be doing a post on our Tennessee trip soon.

Tonight is Drew's first night in her crib.
Yes, she has been in her bassinet (right beside my bed) until now.
Drew's crib is still in our bedroom but it's still a big step.
It's going to be so weird to look over and not see her bassinet right beside me.
