WE ARE OFFICIALLY CARNIES!

We've hit so many carnivals and fairs this year I'm almost burnt out... but she has so much fun I can't pass them up!
Emma and Ava

Riding buddies- 1st truck Cooper & Ava, 2nd truck- Emma

Waiting in line for the ferris wheel.

Amelia and Morrison came too but they were too cool hanging out with Aden and MawMaw and PawPaw on the "big kids" rides to mess with the baby stuff.

THANKS MEMAW AND PEPAW!

I received the coloring pages in the mail. I love them! THANK YOU!

IT ONLY MAKES SENSE...

It only makes sense that we would use ICECREAM to learn our COLORS.

Now if only I could get the state of Illinois to make our street signs and stop lights out of icecream, by the time she's 16 Drivers Ed will be a breeze!!

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY AVA!

We celebrated Ava's 2nd birthday a week ago. Here she is all dressed up in her birthday outfit ready for her guests to arrive.

TODDLERS AND TIARAS

Emma and I love the new show on the TLC Channel called "Toddlers and Tiaras". Emma loves to watch all the prissy girls with their big hair and fancy dresses. Whenever the girls put on the glittery dresses Emma's eyes get real big and she says "Mommy, look."
I'm not sure how I feel about pageants. I think they're okay if the child really wants to do them. And if they're done for fun... just like any other sport. I'm sure there are lots of kids out there who would rather not play baseball or football or soccer but their parents push them to. And I've been to many baseball games where mothers act just as ridiculous as some of these pageant moms.
Emma and I were at my moms the other day watching Toddlers and Tiaras. My mother is cracking up at Emma staring at these girls. As one little girl is putting on her hair piece you can see a light bulb go off in my mother's head. She takes off to her bedroom. When she returns she says "Emma, look MawMaw has a hair piece for you." My mom puts this pathetic old lady wig on Emma. Emma loved it! She pranced around that house like she was one of those pageant girls!

Note: In all the excitement of being a pageant girl for the afternoon, she never puts down the banana popsicle.

1866 MILES LATER...

I'm too tired to blog about our trip. So I'll just skip to the best part and post some pictures... and there's a lot!
