PAGING DR ROGERS, PAGING DR ROGERS

As strange as it may sound Emma loves to go to the doctor.

Sometimes, well almost everyday, she will say

"Mommy, I don't feel good, I need to see Dr. Reddy"

Coincidentally Dr. Reddy has suckers.

So when Mrs. Flamingo and Baby Doll got sick today

Dr. Rogers knew just how to take care of them.
Baby Doll had a slight fever.
Dr. Rogers immediately listened to her chest.
Checking for any signs of bronchitis.

Mrs. Flamingo was running a slight fever as well.

Dr. Rogers immediately checked Mrs. Flamingo's ears

for any sign of an ear inection.

LIKE MOTHER LIKE DAUGHTER

First, let me say that Emma loves sunglasses!
So when I spotted these glasses that looked
just like mine I had to get them.
She loves them.
Everytime she wears them she says (still)
"I look like you mommy!"

BEGINNING OF OUR SPRING WARDROBE

Gymboree had a really good sale on their new spring line today.
AND I had a 20% off coupon.
So Emma and I headed to Paducah this afternoon.
Here's what we came home with.

Can't wait till she can actually wear them outside!!

Until then we'll just patiently wait on spring.

PRINCESS

Daddy let Emma wear her tiara to Miss Tonya's today.
This smiling face greeted me at the door this afternoon...
Tiara and all.

And the tiara has not left her head all day!

MY VALENTINE

On our wedding day I didn't think I could love him anymore than I did at that moment...
Until this little girl came along...

And now every time I see him being a Daddy...

And loving on his baby girl...

And being loved back by his baby girl...

...I fall in love all over again!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

WILL YOU BE MY VALENTINE?

Emma had to take Valentine's to Puggles on Wednesday night.
This was the first time Emma has given out Valentine's Day cards and she was a little confused.
She kept calling me them birthday cards.
I printed her name on each one.
And then Emma added her signature.

WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL MOM?

Pulling out of Emma's babysitter the other day,

she says to me,

"Where we going mommy?"

I say

"We're going home."

"Wanna go to MeMaw and Grandpa's?"

Emma says.

I reply

"Not today, remember Grandpa and MeMaw live far away

and we have to ride an airplane to get to their house?"

After a few seconds Emma says

"Hey mom, wanna go to the airport?"

WISHFUL THINKING....

dreaming of short sleeves...

capris....

and flipflops.

GO # 22!

Last Saturday we went and watched Aden play basketball.
Emma took this opportunity to study her flash cards.
And Aden scored 4 points!

Emma did take time out from studying to watch a little of the game with PawPaw.

MAY I TAKE A MOMENT TO BRAG?

See this little girl studying her little heart away?

These flash cards have been her favorite toy since the day she got them.
And it's paying off.
She now has learned her shapes.
Including the rhombus (which I myself just learned).
She has also learned her colors.
While I'm bragging I might as well tell you that she can count to 12 as well.
I dont think I could be any more proud of this little girl.
I'm one proud Momma.

NIGHT #2 OF GYMNASTICS

Here are some pictures of Emma rocking her new gymnastics outfit before we left.

Our 2nd night of gymnastics went about the same as the first night.
Emma only stayed out on the floor for about 1/2 of the lesson.
I'm hoping she gets more comfortable and will eventually stay the whole time.
