I am always in search of quick dinner ideas. But I believe I've sinked to a new low. In my whole life I have never had Hamburger Helper. So while grabbing groceries last weekend I picked up some Lasagna Hamburger Helper and thought we'd give it a try. I fixed it tonight for dinner. It wasn't that bad, wasn't that good either... but it definately did not look like it did on the box. Actually, it looked quite disguisting.
I didn't think it was that bad. Emma made a face and turned from her plate. She opted for peanut butter and jelly instead. Normally, I would make her eat what we're eating but after taking a second look at my plate I thought I'd give her a break. See how thankful she was. I dont think she's ever been so happy to have peanut butter & jelly.
Drew worked late tonight. At least that's what he said I think he was trying to get out of supper. But he need not worry... I saved him a plate!! I'm sure it'll taste just delicious re-warmed.
