GET ME OUT OF THIS HOUSE!

I have been locked up in this house forever!
I fought a nasty cold all last week and after a couple days of my ear hurting I finally broke down and went to urgent care Friday night.
Ava spent the night with Emma Friday night so I left Andrew alone with the girls while I went to the doctor. I found out at the doctor that I had my very first ear infection. Wow, they are not fun. I dont know how kids handle them, they hurt!
This is what Emma's bedroom looked like after her and Ava played all night. They didn't go to bed till 11:30 that night.

I had ordered tickets for all of us to go on the Santa Train Saturday afternoon.
Me, Emma, Penny, Talan, Tonya B, Ava, Amelia and her friend Briley.
I woke up Saturday feeling like a total piece of... well you know, so I decided to stay home and Andrew took Emma.

Here are the girls before they left.

Andrew took some videos and photos of Emma on the train and would text them to me.
It made me so sad that I had to miss it but I'm glad she had so much fun.

I had to miss Andrew's work party last night because I still felt bad. He went for a while but didnt stay long.

We woke up to about 2 inches of snow this morning. I was feeling quite a bit better so we loaded up and left for church.

Not a lot of snow but the roads were horrible! We didn't make it a mile down the road and almost had 2 accidents, one involving another car, so we decided to turn around and go back home.

Which makes another day of being stuck in the house. I really wanted to get out this afternoon and take Emma to see Santa and Candy Cane Lane but the roads are still horrible. All area schools have already canceled for tomorrow.

I did get all my circles drawn to start making Baby Drew's mobile but that's as far as I got. My scissors weren't working too well on the material so I've got to pick up some new fabric scissors before I can finish.

What a boring weekend and day. At least mom and dad stopped by this evening for a while. It was nice to see a different face!
