I entered the world... I've never really been big on celebrating my own birthday. I love celebrating everyone elses'. But my own? Boring.
Drew had to work this morning so Emma and I stayed home and cleaned.
A true lady always vacuums in heels and a hat dont' ya know.
This afternoon we went to the Superman Festival in Metropolis Il. This was a small, small carnival. It made HerrinFesta a few weeks ago look like DisneyWorld. Emma, however, had a blast.
She kept saying "I Yide, I Yide". Translated= "I Ride, I Ride"
Her first rollercoaster ride did not go so well. It was a little too jerky. Maybe next year.
Emma went home with MawMaw and PawPaw to spend the night. Drew took me shopping and to dinner for my birthday. Here we are before we left. We never get dressed up and go anywhere much anymore (and I'm so not complaining about that). So I used the auto feature of my camera and made him cheese it up with me.
